Andrew Brodkin Awarded Patent Litigator of the Year – Canada
Congratulations to Goodmans partner Andrew Brodkin for winning Patent Litigator of the Year – Canada, making this his fourth “Lawyer of the Year” award in 2024! This year alone, Andrew has been celebrated for his professional expertise with an impressive list of wins including: “Intellectual Property Litigator of the Year” at the Benchmark Canada Awards, “Canada Practitioner of the Year – Patent Disputes” at the Managing IP Awards America, and “Lawyer of the Year” for Intellectual Property Law by The Best Lawyers in Canada 2025.
Andrew Brodkin is a partner and a member of the Executive Committee at Goodmans. Goodmans IP Group Wins Impact Case of the Year for AbbVie v JAMP Pharma
Congratulations are also in order for the Goodmans Intellectual Property Litigation Team who, for the second time this year, won an Impact Case of the Year award for their representation of JAMP Pharma Corporation successfully avoiding a permanent injunction sought by AbbVie Corporation and Abbvie Biotechnology Ltd., and being permitted to continue to market Simlandi in Canada.
